Al-Asr Society of Australia has taken its next leap to implement sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions for water-scarce communities in rural & needy areas around the world. 💧
WATER IS LIFE💦, yet globally, it is running out. There is a water crisis in many areas of the world.
Pakistan is part of the 36 countries that are water-stressed. There are several factors that have contributed to the water crisis in Pakistan, such as an increase in population in urban areas, agriculture, mismanagement of the water system and climate change. If the water crisis in Pakistan is not solved, the impact felt by people in the country will worsen.
For villagers in rural areas, there is no access to safe water for drinking.Most of the water is unfit for drinking. Samples tested at the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) laboratory in Karachi showed that the water was unfit for drinking.
There is drought like situation and water problems top the list. The inconsistent supply of water has been a reality for over a decade now, forcing men from the village to leave farming and find alternative livelihoods in towns and cities.
By generating water facilities (Well-Boring), we intend to support local communities to work their way out of poverty in a number of ways by providing the ability to live a cleaner lifestyle, the chance to grow and sell crops for themselves and the opportunity to use the time saved from searching for water in other productive means such as working, education and reducing poverty.
Water-Well Project💧💦 aims to improve lives of thousands of people in the world on a daily basis through projects like water irrigation systems and deep drilling to reach water sources that were previously out of reach.
Insha’Allah, we will be providing hundreds of water irrigation facilities (Boring) and hand pumps in rural areas of Pakistan around the world in countries like India, Africa, Afghanistan and wherever required.
Insha’Allah, we will continue its mission to dig 100’s of more wells to provide water to all needy areas globally. May Allah swt increase our tawfeeqat and accept our efforts to undertake more future projects and gain Sawaab e Jaariyah.
